Role overview
This position is responsible for SKU-level demand planning and financial estimate planning across multiple brands and categories for the Amazon business. The role works closely with internal and external partners to support inventory planning, order management, fulfillment, and reporting for the account.
What you will do
- Own and execute detailed SKU-level demand planning to improve forecast accuracy and support inventory efficiency across multiple brands and categories.
- Prepare and maintain financial estimates for brands and categories within the ecommerce account, ensuring alignment with business goals and financial plans.
- Develop productive working relationships with brand leaders, regional teams, and functional groups such as marketing and sales to keep supply chain plans aligned.
- Represent the ecommerce account internally and externally, helping different stakeholders reach agreement and move initiatives forward.
- Track and report daily operational metrics, including key performance indicators tied to supply chain performance, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Look for ways to simplify workflows, improve efficiency, and lower operating costs in supply chain activities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in merchandise planning, preferably in ecommerce, retail, or consumer goods.
- Hands-on experience with SKU-level demand planning and financial estimate planning.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Prior experience advocating for specific accounts or brands in a corporate setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to handle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Team-oriented mindset and adaptability in response to changing business needs.
Compensation and benefits
The expected base pay for this role is between $73,150 and $109,200 annually. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, education, budget, and location.
This position is also eligible for a competitive bonus program, with the opportunity to exceed target based on individual performance and company results.
