What the role involves

The Associate-Owner model is specific to this organization and gives qualified pharmacists the chance to operate as both a healthcare professional and a business owner. The position blends patient care, team leadership, community involvement, and store performance management.

• Use business insight to strengthen store performance and profitability while supporting brand growth.
• Guide, motivate, and develop the store team so they can perform at a high level.
• Deliver excellent patient care as a central part of the pharmacy operation.
• Represent the store in the community and support programs that promote local health and well-being.
• Work with in-store leadership and wider operational support teams to manage the business effectively.

Support and resources

The store owner is not operating in isolation. Ongoing support is available through the in-store management team and a broader network of specialists who can help with areas such as staffing, employee relations, recruitment, store systems, loss prevention, retail accounting, and other operational needs. Regular guidance is also provided by the District Manager and Pharmacy Operations Specialist.

Training and selection

Candidates are appointed based on prior performance and experience, a detailed interview process, reference checks, and successful completion of the Leadership Excellence and Development Program (LEAD). LEAD Foundations is a customized training program created to develop new and prospective associates, front store managers, and beauty managers so they can stay competitive in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per hour. Pay may vary based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and the geographic region where the role is located.
