About the Internship

This internship opportunity involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium or comparable tools to verify the functionality of web and mobile applications. Interns will work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and draft comprehensive test cases based on user stories. The role also includes contributing to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) efforts using Terraform for test environment setup, conducting load tests to assess application performance under stress, and troubleshooting bottlenecks. Additionally, candidates will integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems to enhance testing reliability and deployment integrity. Managing bug reporting through defect tracking systems and coordinating with development teams to resolve issues will also be key tasks. Support for test environment management including data resets and pre-release preparations is expected.

Candidate Eligibility

Applicants must be available full-time (in-office) for a six-month period starting between July 28th and September 1st, 2026. This position welcomes freshers and women seeking to start or resume their careers. Relevant skills and interests in software testing and automation are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Basic knowledge of Playwright testing tool.
Strong grasp of software testing principles with a deep interest in automation frameworks.
Fundamental coding skills in Java, Python, or C# with motivation to advance programming proficiency.
Experience or familiarity with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar testing frameworks is beneficial.
Understanding of version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies is advantageous.
Meticulous attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information

The stipend ranges from ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month.
Successful interns may receive a job offer with an annual salary between ₹300,000 and ₹500,000 upon conversion to a full-time employee.
