Autotechnician- Quality Controller

Role Overview

Al Waha For Cars is hiring a meticulous Auto Technician – Quality Controller in Doha, Qatar. This role is focused on making sure every vehicle meets the company’s quality standards before it is handed over to the customer. The right candidate should bring strong automotive technical knowledge along with hands-on experience in quality checking within a workshop setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out final inspections to confirm that all vehicle systems, parts, and safety features are working as they should before delivery.
• Review vehicle cleanliness and overall appearance to ensure it is ready for customer handover.
• Track workshop quality standards and suggest corrective steps whenever gaps are found.
• Keep accurate inspection notes and quality control documentation.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Workshop Supervisors, and Technicians to fix quality-related concerns.
• Follow company procedures, safety rules, and manufacturer instructions at all times.
• Inspect vehicles after repair and maintenance work to verify quality and completeness.
• Check that all repairs and services match the job card details and manufacturer requirements.
• Perform road tests when necessary to confirm vehicle performance and repair results.
• Spot incomplete, incorrect, or below-standard work and escalate it to the workshop team.

Requirements

• A Diploma or Technical Certification in Automotive Technology or a closely related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience working as an Automotive Technician or Quality Controller.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems is essential.
• The ability to review repair orders and technical manuals accurately is needed.
• Good inspection ability and practical problem-solving skills are important.
• A valid driving license is mandatory.
• Candidates must be comfortable using automotive diagnostic tools and related equipment.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities are expected.
