Bartender

Role Overview

This full-time bartender position is based in AlHada Area on Mekkah Road in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category and is a non-management position. It is an on-site role, not remote.

What You’ll Do

• Mix and serve guest drinks by following standard recipes and using accurate measuring tools.
• Arrange, clean, and maintain the bar, bar equipment, tables, and related tools in proper condition.
• Prepare fresh garnishes and ensure the bar is stocked with ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Move supplies to the bar setup area as needed and wash used glassware.
• Clear used items from the bar and tables and place them in the correct designated area.
• Keep an eye on stock levels and communicate replenishment needs in advance.
• Handle all payment methods, count the cash bank at the end of the shift, and complete cashier reports.
• Identify and address any cash differences, deliver receipts, and secure the cash bank.
• Lock coolers, cabinets, and storage spaces, and complete all closing tasks.
• Follow company safety, security, and operational procedures at all times.
• Report incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional uniform standards.
• Protect confidential information and company property.
• Welcome guests warmly, respond to their needs promptly, and thank them sincerely.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and build positive working relationships.
• Support team goals, listen carefully to co-workers, and respond appropriately to concerns.
• Meet quality standards and carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience. No supervisory background is required.

Work Requirements

The position involves long periods of standing, sitting, or walking during the shift. The role also requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. It includes frequent fine hand movements, handling items of different sizes and weights, and moving through narrow, confined, elevated, uneven, slippery, or stairway areas. The job may also require bending, twisting, reaching above the head or below the knees, and stooping.
