Role overview
Emirates is hiring cabin crew to serve as the customer-facing team onboard flights. This role suits someone with a warm personality, strong adaptability, and the confidence to help guests feel comfortable in any situation. You will represent the airline, guide passengers when needed, and support them throughout the journey.
Beyond hospitality, this position places safety at the center of every task. You will be expected to handle aircraft service duties, security, and safety procedures with confidence and professionalism. Training is delivered in a world-class facility in Dubai.
What the role requires
You should bring more than one year of experience in hospitality or customer service, along with a positive outlook and the ability to work well with colleagues and travelers from diverse backgrounds. The minimum academic requirement is a high school diploma or Grade 12. Strong written and spoken English is essential.
There are also physical and appearance-related conditions for the role. You must be at least 160 cm tall and able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes so you can access emergency equipment on all aircraft types. Visible tattoos are not permitted while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform unless they are fully covered with bandages or cosmetics. Cabin crew are based in Dubai and must satisfy UAE employment visa requirements.
In addition, Emirates expects crew members to maintain consistently high standards, stay focused on solutions, and manage a demanding roster. You should be able to deliver a genuine customer experience and reflect the airline’s professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan style.
Salary and benefits
Compensation is made up of three parts: a fixed monthly base salary, an hourly payment for flown sectors, and an overseas meal allowance. The base salary is AED 4,980 per month. Flying pay is AED 69.60 per hour, based on an average of 80 to 100 flying hours per month. The approximate average total monthly pay is AED 11,244, which is around USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280 for Grade II (Economy Class).
Meal allowances for night stops are added to salary in arrears the following month. The company also provides hotel accommodation and transport to and from the airport. Other benefits include a competitive tax-free salary, flying pay, profit share, concessional travel, relocation support for settling in Dubai, free accommodation and transportation, medical cover, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.
