About the internship
This remote, part-time internship is with Safalta Setu, a non-profit initiative focused on connecting Army Brats and other military youth with meaningful industry exposure, mentoring, and career support. The program is led by IIT alumni and is designed to create practical opportunities, professional networks, and a long-term support ecosystem for talented young people.
What you’ll do
- Create children’s book illustrations and design page layouts, character visuals, and storytelling elements that make learning materials engaging for young readers.
- Develop eye-catching social media creatives, banners, and promotional graphics in Canva.
- Produce visual content that stays consistent with the organization’s branding and ongoing campaigns.
- Build reusable templates for routine communication and outreach work.
- Work alongside the content and outreach teams to deliver strong and effective design outputs.
- Share original ideas for awareness initiatives and student engagement efforts.
- Refine and update existing designs based on feedback, briefs, and changing requirements.
