Job summary

This role is for a procurement professional focused on civil engineering materials and services within EPC and construction environments. The position centers on managing purchasing activities from requirement gathering through vendor finalization, with an emphasis on meeting project timelines, controlling costs, and staying aligned with technical and contractual needs.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle the complete procurement cycle for civil materials and associated services.
• Draft RFQs, review both technical and commercial proposals, and support vendor selection.
• Work closely with engineering and site teams to understand material needs.
• Make sure purchasing activities stay aligned with project timelines.
• Prepare comparison sheets covering technical and commercial parameters.
• Negotiate commercial terms such as price, payment conditions, and delivery schedules.
• Create and administer Purchase Orders and Work Orders.
• Track vendor delivery and performance, and address any issues that arise.
• Ensure all procurement activities follow specifications and internal standards.
• Keep records and procurement documentation updated and organized.
• Coordinate with the billing and finance teams for invoice handling and vendor payment processing.
