Role overview

We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on Cleaner to support a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for both staff and passengers. This role focuses on keeping buses, depot areas, and office spaces maintained to a consistently high standard.

Key duties

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising assigned areas.
• Keep washrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces clean and well maintained.
• Restock cleaning and hygiene consumables when needed.
• Remove waste, empty bins, and dispose of rubbish in a safe and responsible manner.
• Clean the inside of buses, including seating, flooring, windows, and driver cabins.
• Perform deeper cleaning tasks such as scrubbing floors, cleaning windows, and polishing surfaces.
• Flag any repair needs, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate team.
• Use cleaning tools, machinery, and chemicals safely and according to company procedures.
• Work effectively on your own as well as alongside colleagues.

• Comfort working independently and contributing as part of a team.
• Physical capability to handle manual cleaning duties.
• Flexibility to adapt to operational needs when required.

• Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
• Pay rate of £15.16 per hour.

Additional information
