Role overview

For a rapidly expanding mid-sized business involved in project-based work near Trier, I am looking for a Controller (m/f/d) to join as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop and strengthen controlling processes and structures in a fast-growing organization.
• Set up a database and create a reliable data foundation, including ensuring data quality for analysis purposes.
• Prepare reporting for the Head of Controlling and the Commercial Director, and act as a business partner for commercial departments.
• Design dashboards in Power BI and produce management reports.
• Support budget planning and forecasting activities.
• Contribute to both departmental and cross-functional projects.

Profile

• Completed degree in economics/business administration or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in production/plant, project, or business controlling.
• Experience in a larger mid-sized company and/or corporate environment.
• Fluent German language skills.
• Very strong Excel skills.
• Business intelligence experience is desirable, preferably with Power BI.
• Comfortable working in a mid-market environment with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Enjoys building structures and processes from the ground up.
