Corporate Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Aid in executing the group's M&A strategy, encompassing acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments.
• Develop sophisticated financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses for potential investment prospects.
• Prepare comprehensive board materials, presentations, and strategic recommendations for executive review.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify and pursue growth avenues in new markets, products, and distribution channels.
• Contribute to due diligence processes and manage external advisors as needed.
• Support the planning and execution of post-acquisition integration to ensure successful outcomes.
• Track market dynamics, competitor actions, and industry trends to inform strategic planning.
• Work alongside finance and operational departments on strategic planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, strategy, or commercial finance.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analytical assessments.
• Demonstrated experience in creating business cases, investment proposals, and strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• A strong commercial acumen and a keen interest in growth strategies and acquisitions.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
