Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Science Consultant to contribute to analytics work in the banking and payments domain. This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and follows an onsite work model. It is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

What You Will Do

Create and refine predictive models as well as customer segmentation structures.
Examine transaction and customer datasets to surface patterns, risks, and commercial opportunities.
Turn data findings into actionable inputs for marketing, portfolio, and risk-related decisions.
Build analytical outputs such as dashboards, performance summaries, and reporting tools.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to convert data into practical business recommendations.

Experience and Skills Needed

Prior experience of 1 to 5 years in data analytics, data science, or business analytics.
Background in banking, financial services, fintech, payments, or card-related products.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with SAS or R will be an added advantage.
Practical exposure to predictive modeling, segmentation, transaction analysis, or risk analytics.
Experience handling credit card, debit card, payments, or customer portfolio data is preferred.
Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.

Preferred Background

Exposure to statistical modeling, forecasting, and data mining methods.
Experience in card analytics, customer lifecycle analysis, or portfolio performance review.

Contract Terms

This is a 12-month extendable contract role.

Location

Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is onsite.
