Role overview

The dermatologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails, along with delivering selected aesthetic treatments where permitted. The position is based in Doha, Qatar and must align with local healthcare regulations and clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat common and complex skin disorders such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and infections.
• Carry out dermatology procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.
• Provide cosmetic dermatology services such as Botox, dermal fillers, and laser treatments, subject to valid licensing.
• Manage long-term and recurring skin-related conditions.
• Counsel patients on skincare routines, prevention, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation for each patient.
• Follow all clinical safety requirements and healthcare compliance standards.

Requirements

• Medical degree with a dermatology specialization, such as MD, board certification, or an equivalent qualification.
• Current Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 3 to 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• DataFlow and Prometric certification may be required, depending on the role.
• Prior aesthetic dermatology exposure will be considered a strong plus.
