Job summary

The Dispatch Associate is responsible for dispatching drivers with loads, managing overflow coordination, and checking driver hours of service. The role also includes yard control work, such as allocating trailer movements to shifters across the yard and supporting unloading activity during the sort when several shifters are involved.

Responsibilities

• Allocate loads across the national feeder network according to service level requirements, transit time, and sort indicators.
• Coordinate overflow handling to keep freight moving smoothly.
• Verify driver hours of service to support compliance and accurate dispatching.
• Carry out yard control tasks, including directing trailer movements for shifters in the yard and unloading areas.

Qualifications

• Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.

Additional information

This is a permanent position based in the Greater Perth Area and is classified as full-time and onsite.
