About the internship

Boatload Minds works on smart beverage vending machines that combine hardware technology and IoT to deliver refreshments through automated systems. The internship offers hands-on exposure to product design and development in a hardware-focused environment.

What you will do

Create 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and assemblies in SolidWorks.
Support the development of new product concepts and prototypes.
Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering documentation.
Prepare manufacturing drawings with correct GD&T specifications.
Take part in prototype testing and product validation.
Contribute to design improvements and cost-reduction efforts.
Work with cross-functional teams during product development activities.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can join full-time in person, are available for a 3-month internship, and can start between 1st Jul'26 and 5th Aug'26. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in the role and must be Mechanical Engineering students.

Additional requirements

B.E. Mechanical Engineering, 2026 pass-out only.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Basic to intermediate working knowledge of SolidWorks.
Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
