About Riyadh Air
Riyadh Air (RX), based in the Saudi capital, is a new national airline aiming to reshape the future of air travel. About the Role
This opportunity is for an experienced AI leader who can both guide a team and work directly on advanced AI engineering initiatives. The role focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and running AI systems and agents that can reason, plan, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks.
You will build agentic AI solutions using modern orchestration tools and frameworks, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, and CrewAI. The position also requires strong DevOps and MLOps discipline, including CI/CD, monitoring and observability, and model lifecycle management, to deliver reliable production-grade AI solutions.
As a technical leader, you will mentor and develop a team of AI engineers, encourage innovation and accountability, and promote ongoing learning. You will also define the engineering direction, quality standards, and delivery methods needed to create scalable AI capabilities.
Collaboration will be a key part of the role, with close partnership across Product, Architecture, Security, and Data teams to convert business needs into actionable AI use cases, delivery plans, and scalable implementations.
About You
The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and brings at least 7 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in AI and machine learning engineering.
You should have strong practical experience building agentic AI systems and intelligent agents. Additional strength will come from solid knowledge of LLM orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and scalable AI architecture.
