Role Overview
This role sits within Evoenergy’s work to build, service, and maintain the ACT electricity network as the organisation supports the transition toward a net-zero future. The business is hiring multiple Lineworkers to join the team in Canberra, ACT.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out installation, modification, and upkeep of the distribution network for customer-requested service work.
- Complete connection and disconnection activities for electrical supply.
- Support construction and maintenance work across overhead and underground electricity infrastructure.
- Perform servicing tasks as required.
- Assist with substation construction and maintenance.
- Respond to faults and carry out rectification work.

- Starting salary of $91,841, plus 16% superannuation and more than $6,000 in allowances.

Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and actively supports a respectful, inclusive, and safe workplace.
- Holds Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead.
- Has a current ACT motor vehicle licence (MR) or an equivalent acceptable licence.
- Possesses a High Risk licence for EWP.
- Has prior successful experience working in the field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure.
