About Carpentaria

About the Role
The Executive Officer – Contracts Management is responsible for providing strategic, governance and operational assistance to strengthen the management of organisational contracts, funding arrangements and executive-level priorities. This position works closely with the CEO, DCEO and the Executive Team to monitor contract compliance, track performance obligations, prepare performance reporting and ensure all contract-related activity aligns with organisational goals, regulatory obligations and funding requirements.
Across the organisation, this role supports strong contract governance, reporting, risk oversight and continuous improvement so services remain sustainable and outcomes for the people served continue to improve.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting executive leaders with strategic, administrative and governance-related contract work.
- Managing and monitoring organisational contracts and funding agreements.
- Tracking contractual obligations and preparing performance reports.
- Ensuring contract activity remains aligned with regulatory, funding and organisational requirements.
- Contributing to governance processes, risk management and improvement initiatives.
- Assisting with procurement, tendering and grant-related processes where required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate will bring a blend of business, contract management and executive support experience, ideally gained in the not-for-profit, health or community services sector.
