About this opportunity
We are looking for an HR Coordinator to support the People Experience team by helping create a consistent and positive employee journey from hiring through to exit. In this role, you will work from the Port Macquarie office while also supporting the Mid North Coast office. You will be part of a collaborative team that values people, and your HR knowledge will contribute to meaningful outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Handle everyday HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, HRIS administration, and compliance support.
- Work alongside leaders to offer practical guidance on employee relations, performance, and development matters.
- Oversee workers’ compensation matters and support return-to-work coordination.
- Look for ways to enhance HR systems, processes, and the overall employee experience.
About you
You should hold formal qualifications in Human Resources, or have an equivalent background, and bring previous experience in a similar HR position. Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities are important, along with a consistently high level of customer service for internal and external stakeholders. You will also need strong computer skills and accurate data entry capability.
