Inventory Control Specialist

Role Overview

This position is with a client focused on frozen food products. Candidates who have handled frozen inventory and worked in cold storage environments will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep inventory quantities under close control and ensure stock levels remain accurate.
• Document all stock movements, including receipts, transfers, returns, and issues.
• Carry out regular physical stock counts and formal inventory audits.
• Find the root cause of stock variances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Review stock consumption patterns and compile inventory analysis reports.
• Track and manage slow-moving, outdated, or damaged items.
• Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders before acceptance.
• Assist with warehouse activities and maintain organized stock placement.
• Release stock for daily delivery requirements.
• Prepare stock updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Industry Preference

Experience in frozen inventory control and cold storage operations is strongly preferred.
