Role Overview

The Facilities Group National is hiring a motivated cleaner to help keep client facilities neat, safe, and well-maintained. The position involves routine cleaning work, basic upkeep, and ensuring the building remains presentable and in good working order. Prior cleaning experience and a working understanding of common cleaning products are preferred.

Key Duties

• Carry out everyday cleaning tasks and keep the property in clean, functional condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Clean restrooms and make sure supplies are replenished.
• Empty garbage and recycling containers as needed.
• Clear sidewalks of snow and debris.
• Make sure doors are secured once hours are over.
• Tackle spills using the proper tools and methods.
• Handle small maintenance fixes when required.
• Escalate larger repair needs to a supervisor or manager.
• Finish assigned work on time with little direct supervision.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
• Coordinate with outside cleaning contractors when necessary.
• Take on any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Good time-management skills and the ability to stay organized.
• Comfortable working without constant supervision.
• Safe handling of a range of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Familiarity with basic cleaning tools and equipment.
• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; E-Verify is used.

Working Schedule

This is a Monday through Friday evening role, running from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
