Junior Analyst

Role overview

Ventaris Surgical is looking for a junior analyst who is organized, analytical, and attentive to detail. This position supports day-to-day business operations by researching information, working with data, creating reports, and turning findings into practical insights that help guide decisions.

The role is well suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working with numbers, and building their skills in a professional setting while contributing to process improvement and business performance review.

Key responsibilities

• Gather data from different sources, then clean, organize, verify, and analyze it.
• Build reports, dashboards, presentations, and concise business summaries.
• Spot trends, irregularities, patterns, and possible opportunities in datasets.
• Help with research tasks, market studies, and reviews of business performance.
• Track KPIs and other operational metrics on an ongoing basis.
• Assist with forecasting, planning, and wider strategic decision-making.
• Update and manage spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
• Run data-quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Work with internal stakeholders to collect requirements and provide analytical assistance.
• Record methods, processes, and conclusions from analysis work.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by recommending data-backed actions.

Skills and competencies

• Strong numerical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving ability.
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and analysis features.
• Ability to research information effectively and gather relevant data.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

• Interest in learning new tools, methods, and business concepts.

Preferred background

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field is preferred. Experience from internships, academic projects, research assignments, or earlier analytical work will be an advantage.

Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, reporting tools, business intelligence work, performance analysis, data visualization, or statistical analysis would be beneficial.
