Junior Creative Designer

About the Role

BISCO, a leading international manufacturer of dental devices specializing in adhesive and composite technology, is seeking a Junior Creative Designer to join its dynamic Marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding business within a positive and collaborative work environment. The position is based in Schaumburg, IL, with a hybrid work option available after three months of employment, allowing for two days of remote work per week.

Reporting to the Creative Marketing Manager, the Junior Creative Designer will support in-house systems for labels and packaging, global sales and marketing communications, and provide creative services to various departments. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level designer to grow professionally and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new labels, packaging, and instructional materials, as well as revise existing ones to meet regulatory and marketing requirements.
• Manage the submission of labeling files to vendors, oversee proofing processes, and maintain records of all labeling projects.
• Create and update marketing collateral, advertisements, and promotional materials to align with campaigns, new information, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with printers and vendors for marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and quality through proof management.
• Provide essential creative support to other departments as needed.
• Execute creative requirements for company-hosted programs and events.
• Stay informed about the latest design techniques, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Undertake other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required.
• This is an entry-level position; a strong portfolio or reel is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiarity with both Mac and PC operating systems are necessary.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
• Must possess strong creative thinking, design abilities, an understanding of timing for video/animation, problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent visual communication capabilities.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills are needed to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively, along with a flexible approach to work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and work autonomously.
• A foundational understanding of branding principles and marketing strategy concepts is beneficial.
• Willingness and ability to learn about dental concepts and the company's product lines.
• Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods, operate standard office equipment, and occasionally perform tasks involving lifting up to 35 pounds, kneeling, climbing, or standing for extended durations.

Additional Information

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
