Role overview
This position leads an established Construction Materials Testing (CMT) laboratory in Saudi Arabia and carries responsibility for commercial results, customer partnerships, technical execution, and business expansion. It is not limited to routine lab supervision and is best suited to someone who likes developing teams, raising operational performance, and creating new growth opportunities.
Key work areas
The role involves managing testing operations across soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, geotechnical work, and mix design activities. A strong focus is required on maintaining consistent quality, safety, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is a commercially aware laboratory leader with deep CMT experience and a hands-on, improvement-driven approach to running a lab business.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in construction materials testing, materials testing, or laboratory operations.
- Proven experience in leading teams and handling client relationships.
- Working knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, BS/EN standards, and ISO 17025.
- Experience in roads, infrastructure, construction materials, or testing-related environments.
- A demonstrated record of improving operations, expanding services, or guiding organizational change.
