Overview
In this role, you will oversee laundry and uniform operations within a hotel setting in Saudi Arabia. The position is centered on keeping linens and team uniforms available, clean, and well-managed, while contributing to a guest experience that reflects genuine hospitality.
Role Summary
As a Laundry Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day work of the laundry and uniform team, making sure processes run smoothly, equipment is handled correctly, and quality standards are consistently met. The role combines hands-on supervision with inventory control, workflow planning, and production tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily laundry operations by guiding, coaching, and monitoring team members responsible for laundry and uniform handling.
- Ensure a steady supply of clean linens and uniforms is maintained for operational needs.
- Handle uniform ordering, allocation, and stock tracking for team member apparel.
- Manage linen processing tasks such as collection, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, ironing, folding, and storage, while supporting proper upkeep of the equipment used.
- Review linen condition, inventory counts, stain and damage levels, and production data to determine when rewashing, repairs, or replacements are required.
- Allocate machines, tools, and workstations effectively and maintain hourly productivity records and other production metrics.
