Network Engineer - Infoblox

Role Summary

Norwin Technologies is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join our Enterprise Network Services team in Pune, India. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational stability, resilience, security, and compliance of global network services within a highly regulated enterprise setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in enterprise networking, Infoblox platforms, incident and problem management, operational governance, network automation, and service reliability. You will serve as a senior technical escalation point, spearhead service enhancements, lead root cause investigations, and collaborate effectively with Architecture, Security, Product, and Service Management teams to ensure the delivery of highly available and scalable network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the operational stability, resilience, performance, and compliance of enterprise network services.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Infoblox.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for critical network incidents and significant service disruptions.
• Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and coordinate issue resolution across diverse technology domains.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement lasting solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Proactively drive service improvements to achieve a measurable reduction in recurring incidents.
• Adhere to established governance, risk, compliance, and change management processes for all network modifications.
• Integrate reliability engineering and design-for-run principles throughout the network service lifecycle.
• Lead initiatives focused on automation and standardization to boost operational efficiency, service resilience, and recovery speed.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Product, and Service Management teams to develop scalable, secure, and dependable network solutions.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, lifecycle management, and technology refresh projects.
• Maintain comprehensive operational documentation, technical standards, and network recovery procedures.
• Participate in major incident management, disaster recovery drills, and business continuity planning.

Additional Information

This position requires a strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management. Experience with network monitoring and observability tools is essential, as is a solid grasp of network security principles and enterprise security controls. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities are also required.
