About the Company
Aum Staffing Services is hiring for a client that ranks among India’s leading manufacturers of original equipment two-wheeler systems and subsystems. The business has been established for four decades, supplies major two-wheeler brands with systems and assemblies, and operates five modern production facilities across India.
Role Overview
The NPD Engineer will support end-to-end new product development activity, with a strong focus on timely launches, documentation control, and coordination across internal and supplier teams. The position requires disciplined execution, resource planning, and continuous improvement in quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out new product development activities and contribute to successful product launches.
Maintain full compliance with project schedules and ensure milestone completion on time.
Plan and manage resources effectively to support NPD execution.
Handle additional NPD-related deliverables as assigned.
Prepare and control NPD documentation, including PPAP-related records.
Work to reduce customer-line and in-house rejections, rework, and overall PPM.
Support efforts to lower COPQ and improve supplier quality.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure NPD deliveries are made as planned.
Help improve customer satisfaction and maintain strong delivery performance.
Contribute to keeping internal audit non-conformances at a low level.
Eligibility
Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering are eligible to apply.
Additional Information
The role involves customer visits, monthly MRM preparation, part development, and preparation of NPD documentation. It also includes efforts toward new business additions and continuous quality improvement.
