Overview

Grand Hyatt Doha is seeking a Nurse to support employee health and workplace safety at the property in Doha, Qatar. The role is centered on delivering caring, professional medical support in line with the hotel’s service culture and values of wellbeing, inclusion, respect, empathy, integrity, and experimentation.

What the role involves

• Deliver immediate basic treatment and first aid to team members when needed.
• Evaluate staff health concerns and respond to illnesses or injuries that happen at work.
• Give medications and treatments that have been prescribed, following the required procedure.
• Keep medical files, reports, and employee health records accurate and up to date.
• Track occupational health matters, including workplace risks and injury prevention measures.
• Follow hygiene, infection control, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Support emergency response efforts and liaise with outside medical providers when necessary.
• Carry out routine health checks and assist with wellness initiatives such as vaccination campaigns and screening programs.
• Guide employees on hygiene, preventive care, and healthy practices.
• Ensure the medical room or clinic remains tidy, organized, and fully prepared for use.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 1 to 3 years of nursing experience, ideally in occupational health, a clinic, or a hospital environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• A valid nursing license or registration in accordance with local authority rules.
• Experience in a corporate, hotel, or industrial environment will be considered a plus.
