Role Overview
Ferrari Logistics is hiring a proactive and detail-focused Operation Supervisor for its Riyadh logistics team. This position is responsible for managing import and export activities from start to finish, as well as overseeing the domestic transport network. The role focuses on ensuring shipments move on time, all rules and regulations are followed, and the coordination team receives strong guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of import and export shipments, from scheduling and customs processing to final delivery or collection.
- Liaise with overseas offices, freight partners, suppliers, and internal teams to keep logistics activities running smoothly.
- Track shipment movement, monitor performance metrics, and remove delays or operational blockers before they escalate.
- Handle urgent issues such as customs hold-ups, document discrepancies, damaged shipments, and service interruptions.
- Keep shipment records accurate, maintain live status updates, and manage proof of delivery records in the system.
- Ensure all work aligns with Saudi customs rules and global trade compliance requirements.
- Spot opportunities to improve procedures and put changes in place that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Guide, train, and support the coordination team while making sure standard operating procedures are consistently followed.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should be comfortable using logistics platforms, ERP tools, and shipment tracking systems. A solid grasp of customs paperwork and regulatory expectations is important, along with strong analytical thinking, issue resolution, and decision-making ability. The position also requires proven team leadership, clear communication in English, and Arabic being a plus. The environment is fast-paced, so the ability to manage pressure and multiple priorities is essential.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or a similar discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in import/export operations, freight forwarding, or logistics, including supervisory exposure.
- Strong familiarity with Saudi customs regulations and international trade compliance is preferred.
Compensation
The role offers a competitive salary in the range of SAR 9,000 to 10,000 per month.
