About the role

In this position, you’ll help keep store operations running smoothly while making sure customer expectations are met or surpassed. The work spans several parts of the store, so each day can bring something different — from replenishing shelves and serving on tills to checking stock levels and preparing customer deliveries. Your focus will be on helping shoppers get what they need quickly, accurately and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

• Pick goods accurately using a handheld terminal and alert the manager to any discrepancies.
• Inspect items for quality and shelf life, and make sure packaging is sturdy before dispatch.
• Process deliveries efficiently and to target while maintaining a strong level of customer service.
• Speak courteously with delivery staff and handle questions or complaints in a suitable manner, escalating complex issues when needed.

What we’re looking for

You should bring a positive, practical attitude and be comfortable working to set pick-rate targets. A strong commitment to customer care and a willingness to go the extra mile are important. You’ll also need to be punctual, well-presented and reliable at all times.

Applicants must be 18 or over if the role involves working before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines and spirits, or driving roles.
