Role Overview

This full-time, on-site leadership role is for a seasoned Principal to guide a well-established girls’ school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position calls for a motivated educational leader who can set direction, raise academic standards, strengthen staff capability, and cultivate a safe, nurturing school culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and steer the school’s long-term direction, expansion, and overall performance.
• Promote excellent teaching practices, effective learning, and strong student outcomes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop academic and administrative teams through purposeful guidance and professional growth.
• Maintain robust safeguarding, student wellbeing, and pastoral support frameworks.
• Manage day-to-day school operations, financial planning, compliance, and use of resources.
• Develop constructive partnerships with parents, families, and the broader community.
• Track school results and introduce ongoing improvement measures where needed.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Education or a closely related discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Teaching credentials plus substantial experience in senior school leadership are essential.
• A demonstrated history of raising school performance and improving student achievement is needed.
• Solid knowledge of curriculum, assessment, safeguarding, and school administration is expected.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities are necessary.
• Full fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Applicants must have unrestricted permission to work in Saudi Arabia and satisfy all relevant local employment rules.
