Role Overview

The Associate will be instrumental in evaluating and executing majority buyout transactions and associated add-on investments. This is an execution-focused role, not sourcing-oriented, designed for individuals who excel at owning workstreams, managing due diligence processes, and making direct contributions to investment decisions. From the start, you will be involved in live transactions and will engage regularly with senior leadership throughout the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of prospective buyout and control investments, including company research, market assessments, and financial modeling.
• Oversee and coordinate due diligence efforts involving internal teams, external advisors, and company management.
• Develop investment materials, including detailed financial analyses and internal memoranda.
• Provide support for transaction structuring, negotiations, and the overall deal execution process through to closing.
• Assist with initial post-close initiatives and strategic projects, such as add-on acquisitions.
• Manage multiple processes concurrently with a significant degree of autonomy.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in private equity, with demonstrated exposure to buyout transactions.
• Buy-side experience and a keen interest in software, technology, and tech-enabled services sectors.
• Direct involvement in completed transactions and practical execution experience.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and strong analytical capabilities.
• A background from a rigorous investment environment, such as private equity or investment banking.
• Comfort working within a small team environment characterized by high accountability and a flat hierarchy.
