Role overview
This is a hands-on process worker position with a client that manufactures and supplies custom doorsets for major construction projects. The work focuses on practical factory tasks and supports production that must meet compliance, quality, cost, and timing targets.
Work schedule
The assignment is based on a Monday to Friday roster with the following hours: Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is a long-term position with an immediate start available.
Key duties
- Operate production machinery such as door presses, CNC equipment, framing tables, and laser machines.
- Carry out welding tasks as required.
- Complete repetitive work on the production line.
- Assist with general factory labouring and manual handling.
Candidate requirements
The role suits someone with prior experience in a factory or process work environment. A driver’s licence and dependable transport are essential. Experience in sheet metal work, cabinet making, or operating wood machinery would be a strong advantage. You should also be physically capable of meeting the demands of the role.
Pay and benefits
The rate of pay is $35 per hour plus penalties. Benefits include ongoing work in a stable long-term assignment, an immediate commencement, and the possibility of moving from temporary to permanent employment.
