About the Business
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a new greenfield venture of the Tata Group focused on building precision manufacturing capabilities. The company is developing India’s first AI-enabled, advanced semiconductor foundry, designed to manufacture chips for uses such as power management ICs, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCUs), and high-performance computing logic. These products are intended to support demand across automotive, computing, data storage, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of production activities during the assigned shift.
- Lead and support production operators so daily output goals are achieved.
- Maintain adherence to safety requirements, quality expectations, and operating procedures.
- Track equipment condition and work with maintenance teams when issues arise.
- Compile and submit shift-wise reports covering productivity, bottlenecks, and key challenges.
- Work with teams across functions to improve workflow, cut downtime, and raise yield.
- Coach and develop team members to strengthen capability and efficiency.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Experience
The role calls for 5 to 8 years of experience in production supervision or shift management. Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ERP systems will be considered an additional advantage.
