Project Engineer

Role overview

A manufacturing employer in County Meath is seeking a Project Engineer to support projects across several sites. The position covers work from detailed design through to final delivery, with responsibility for keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

What you'll do

• Manage both operational initiatives and capital expenditure projects.
• Drive projects from detailed design through to the approval stage.
• Plan and coordinate work effectively while maintaining clear communication with departments across all sites.
• Work with relevant teams to keep operations running smoothly during project execution.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, site leadership teams, and senior management.
• Travel to other manufacturing locations in Europe when needed.

Requirements

• A degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• A demonstrated history of delivering projects successfully or contributing meaningfully to project delivery.
• Strong experience managing stakeholders.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach with excellent organisation and communication abilities.

Package and benefits

• Annual base pay of €42,000 to €50,000, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
