Project Manager

Role overview

This position is responsible for taking complete ownership of engineering projects from planning through delivery and final closure. The objective is to meet the agreed scope, timeline, budget, quality, and safety expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Core responsibilities

• Steer engineering assignments through every stage, starting from initiation and continuing through execution until handover and closure.
• Build comprehensive project plans that define scope, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
• Make sure all work aligns with technical requirements and approved engineering standards.
• Track ongoing progress and keep the project on schedule.
• Control project spending carefully while protecting quality outcomes.
• Apply and uphold quality assurance measures along with occupational health and safety standards across all phases.
• Coordinate contributions across civil, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering functions.
• Organize and run project meetings in an efficient and structured way.
• Guide cross-functional teams and support a cooperative working environment.
• Draft and share regular status updates and progress reports with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Spot project risks or issues early and carry out corrective actions when needed.

• Solid grasp of engineering workflows and multi-discipline coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or a similar field.
• At least 14 years of professional experience in engineering project management.
• Project management certification such as PMP is strongly desirable.
