Its work spans R&D, homologation, testing and certification, calibration, and skill development services for automotive and allied industries across the world.

Role overview

ARAI is hiring for its Automotive Electronics Department (AED) for the position of Research Engineer (Electronics-Digital Key). This is a contract role based in Kothrud, Pune, with 2 openings.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Applicants should bring the relevant technical background, knowledge, and experience required for the role.

Key technical expectations

Working knowledge of automotive vehicles and their major components.
Strong understanding of automotive electronics and in-vehicle electrical architecture.
Awareness of automotive testing and certification workflows, including EMC and environmental testing.
Familiarity with digital key and key fob architecture used in vehicles.
Exposure to vehicle testing requirements as per AIS-076 Amendment-3.
Understanding of threat and risk analysis in automotive systems.
Working knowledge of standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and ISO 26262.
Ability to work with C, C++, MATLAB, and Python programming.

Experience

The role requires 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Contract terms

This is an ARAI contract position for 1 year. The engagement may be extended depending on the candidate's performance.
