Role overview
This position is for an SRE / Linux Platform Engineer supporting a low-latency Linux environment for an elite FinTech client in Singapore. The role blends Linux systems engineering with site reliability responsibilities, with a focus on automation, scalable deployment, and reliable platform operations across private and public cloud environments.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain automated solutions that support deployment at scale.
- Work across both project-based initiatives and day-to-day operational support.
- Improve reliability and efficiency by automating repetitive platform tasks wherever possible.
- Support Linux-based infrastructure in low-latency environments.
- Contribute to platform engineering activities across private and public cloud setups.
Core technical requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux.
- Practical knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Programming ability in Python.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, or Bicep.
- Understanding of disaster recovery practices.
- Familiarity with block or blob storage.
- Experience in high-performance computing environments.
