About the Role
Amazon is seeking talented Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to join their team in Hyderabad. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position ideal for individuals passionate about building innovative products and services from scratch. SDEs at Amazon tackle significant challenges that impact millions of customers globally, utilizing cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale distributed systems and contribute to mission-critical software applications. Depending on performance, this contract may lead to permanent SDE positions.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and launch new products and services.
- Develop innovative technologies within a large-scale distributed computing environment.
- Create solutions for running predictions on distributed systems, leveraging advanced technologies at immense scale and speed.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, cost-effective, and user-friendly distributed storage, index, and query systems.
- Design and implement appropriate solutions for broadly defined problems.
- Work within an agile framework to deliver high-quality software.
