Trial Coordinator

Overview

An opportunity is open for a highly organised, self-driven person to join the research function at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. The Leicester Diabetes Centre is looking for someone with administrative or research support experience to help set up, coordinate, and deliver research studies focused on diabetes and other long-term conditions.

Role details

This position is based on site and follows a 37.5-hour working week, although a minimum commitment of 3 days per week can be considered. The post is part time and requires regular on-site attendance.

What you will do

You will support the preparation of study paperwork, approvals, planning activities, and the daily running of clinical research studies. Working with senior researchers and study investigators, you will help keep studies safe, efficient, and compliant with ICH Good Clinical Practice.

Your work will include helping with participant screening, recruitment, and informed consent, arranging study visits, and maintaining accurate records, data, and documentation for one or more assigned studies. Strong accuracy, close attention to detail, and confidence with Microsoft Office and other digital tools are important for this post.
