In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of clients within the agricultural commodities sector, acting as their main point of contact for all daily interactions. Your duties will include understanding client needs, preparing and negotiating offers, overseeing contract execution, and managing order fulfillment from sourcing to final delivery. You will work closely with our trading, logistics, and finance departments to ensure punctual shipments, accurate documentation, and effective margin control. Additionally, you will monitor market trends, identify new business prospects, assist with risk management strategies, and maintain up-to-date CRM and reporting data to aid strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong account management and client relationship skills, with a proven track record of managing a client base and supporting enduring partnerships. A solid commercial understanding in trading, sales, or business development, preferably within agricultural commodities, food ingredients, or related supply chains, is essential. You should have excellent analytical and research capabilities for market monitoring, pricing evaluation, and supporting risk management. Operational proficiency in coordination, logistics, and documentation is required to ensure seamless end-to-end order execution and timely deliveries. Effective and professional communication, including negotiation and presentation skills, along with structured written communication, is crucial. Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis for managing pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics is expected. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. A high degree of integrity, reliability, and an ownership mindset are necessary to thrive in our fast-paced, international trading environment. Prior experience in global trade, import/export, or commodity logistics is highly desirable, and proficiency in additional languages would be a significant advantage.
