Role Overview
This position is for an experienced ACLP-certified trainer to create, deliver, and assess adult learning programmes in a professional development setting. The role is based in Singapore and focuses on learner-centred, competency-based training aligned with national training standards.
Programme Design and Development
- Create curriculum, facilitator manuals, participant workbooks, and other learning resources that align with SkillsFuture and SSG-accredited requirements.
- Use ADDIE or a similar instructional design framework to develop structured, results-focused learning programmes.
- Build blended learning solutions that combine e-learning, classroom instruction, and workplace-based assessment.
- Adapt course content to reflect Singapore’s regulatory landscape, industry needs, and workforce trends.
Training Facilitation and Delivery
- Run engaging and inclusive adult learning sessions for varied learner groups, including PMETs, frontline staff, and mid-career professionals.
- Apply adult learning principles to foster a supportive and interactive learning environment.
- Handle classroom dynamics effectively and adjust facilitation methods to suit different learning preferences and needs.
- Deliver both face-to-face and virtual sessions using tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Mentimeter.
Assessment and Evaluation
- Develop and administer competency-based assessments in line with SSG and IAL standards.
- Perform assessor duties covering written, oral, and workplace performance assessments.
- Review learner feedback, assessment outcomes, and post-training data to improve programme quality.
- Keep training documentation and records accurate and compliant with WDA/SSG audit requirements.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Full ACLP certification, including Modules 1, 2, and 3, issued by the Institute for Adult Learning, Singapore, is mandatory.
- Registration under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications framework as both a certified trainer and assessor is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industry or training within the subject area is needed.
- Experience delivering SSG-funded programmes will be considered a strong advantage.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, with additional qualifications in Instructional Design, Education, or HRD.
