About The Marketing Analytics Team

The Marketing Analytics team at Wolt focuses on enhancing marketing spend effectiveness and driving company growth. This team addresses diverse marketing challenges, providing insights into campaign performance, investment strategies, and optimization opportunities. They collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Strategy & Operations teams to guide measurement and tactical decision-making through advanced analytics. The team is composed of top Data Science and Analytics Engineering professionals, and the Analytics Manager will play a key role in shaping the team's roadmap, developing its capabilities, and establishing operational rhythms to translate analysis into improved business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

As an Analytics Manager, you will be instrumental in transforming Wolt's marketing strategies. Your responsibilities will include defining the analytics roadmap, prioritizing critical business questions, and ensuring that analytical work leads to concrete decisions and actions. You will serve as a key partner to senior business and product leaders, driving the marketing domain forward and influencing future initiatives. Key duties involve establishing and tracking performance indicators to assess the success of marketing campaigns, exploring new growth investment opportunities, and building the framework for marketing investments. A significant part of the role includes leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Data Scientists, ensuring their work aligns with business needs and enhances marketing decision-making and results. Success hinges on strong leadership, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams to achieve shared goals and drive innovation. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape Wolt's growth trajectory.

Our humble expectations

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Data Analytics or Data Science, including over 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven experience managing teams of 5-10 direct reports.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting and mentoring data science professionals.
• Proficiency in SQL and statistical analysis using Python, R, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of experimentation, attribution, media mix modeling, and marketing measurement principles, with a practical application to business challenges.
• Excellent communication and business partnership skills, with a history of translating analytical findings into actionable insights and measurable business impact.
