Role overview

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a motivated and energetic Baker for its onsite team in Atchison, Kansas. In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items each day while helping keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare baked goods by accurately following recipes and production standards.
• Keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean and well maintained.
• Monitor ingredient usage, take stock regularly, and place ingredient orders as needed.

Requirements

• Comfort with following recipes and applying proper food safety, handling, and sanitation practices.
• Hands-on experience using a range of kitchen tools and equipment to produce baked items.
• Basic arithmetic skills to support inventory control and ordering.
• Prior baking experience in a retail setting is preferred.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $15 to $17 per hour.
