About the role
As a Data Center Business Program Manager, you will help facilities technicians by overseeing maintenance agreements for all facility-related systems. The role combines cost control, contractor coordination for maintenance work and smaller projects, and close partnership with the site Environment, Health and Safety team to keep operations safe. You will play an important part in making sure contractors provide services that meet agreed performance standards and that required safety practices are consistently followed.
The data center organization is responsible for designing and running highly advanced electrical and HVAC systems. The team is collaborative, energetic, and focused on building and operating data centers at a high standard.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2 years of experience in accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- 2 years of experience handling the financial cycle, covering accounting, contracting, budgeting, and financial administration.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior exposure to enterprise resource planning software.
- Background in vendor management.
- Experience using SAP, Sage, Oracle products, or similar tools.
- Understanding of local taxation and administrative processes.
- Strong capability in financial administration and modeling, including detailed spreadsheet analysis and monthly variance reviews.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out assignments with different levels of supervision as needed.
- Serve as the main contact for projects assigned by the facility manager.
- Draft statements of work for facility operations agreements.
- Gather vendor proposals related to facilities, prepare purchase orders, and review or approve invoices.
- Coordinate with support service vendors to address conflicts and issues under the facility manager’s direction.
