Role overview
Inizio Engage works in partnership with a major biotechnology company across its commercial, patient support, and medical affairs functions. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to provide education and support to selected healthcare professionals and office personnel in primary care and specialist settings, focused on a defined disease state.
In this role, you will deliver disease-state education using approved materials and follow program standards, compliance requirements, and the expectations set by Inizio leadership and the client.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver detailed clinical education on disease states and treatment-management protocols to healthcare providers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders through educational discussions using approved resources
- Adhere to all compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements in materials, conversations, and field activities
- Work within the client’s defined boundaries and coordinate with field counterparts
- Complete mandatory Inizio and client training and competency assessments within the required timelines
- Keep accurate daily records of office interactions and other required reporting
- Record time and expenses in the designated Inizio systems
- Maintain any required professional registration and/or licensure under Inizio requirements and applicable state law
- Attend local and national meetings or conferences as requested to stay current on program updates and share best practices
- Care for client and company equipment and materials according to instructions
- Ensure all work follows company policies, the code of conduct, and external industry regulations
- Remain reachable during working hours to handle inquiries and carry out duties
- Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license at all times and promptly report any offenses or accumulated penalty points
- Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight travel
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
- Clinical Educators do not provide nursing services, medical or treatment advice, and do not market or promote pharmaceutical products
What you need
- You must be a qualified healthcare professional with a current state license; respiratory therapist or registered nurse is preferred
- An associate degree, bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent work-related experience is required
- At least 3 years of experience in a specific disease state or related area is needed; respiratory experience is preferred
- Prior work in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry as a clinical educator or in sales is preferred
- Strong professional communication and presentation abilities are essential
- You should be able to present confidently to physicians and office staff members
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills, plus the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Proven ability to manage multiple duties and territory priorities
- A self-driven approach with strong personal motivation
- Ongoing professional development and a clear commitment to maintaining clinical knowledge
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, and residence within the assigned territory is required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and operate standard office equipment
