Role Overview
This is a full-time remote Community Manager position based in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on creating a welcoming, well-managed, and responsive online community experience.
Responsibilities
- Keep online spaces under watch and ensure interactions remain safe, respectful, and inclusive.
- Respond quickly and thoughtfully to customer questions and complaints with a calm, professional approach.
- Handle disputes by reducing tension and helping conversations move back toward constructive discussion.
- Design and carry out engagement initiatives that encourage an active and lively community.
- Work with internal teams to share community feedback, concerns, and useful observations.
- Organize time effectively so multiple conversations and tasks can be handled smoothly in a remote setup.
Requirements
- Prior background in customer support and moderating online communities is required.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, kindly, and with empathy.
- Ability to manage conflict and calm difficult situations effectively.
- A self-driven mindset with enthusiasm, initiative, and a proactive way of solving problems.
- Good time management skills, especially when working independently in a remote environment.
