Role Overview

We are seeking a Copywriter to create persuasive, on-brand advertising content for brand and product marketing programs. The position centers on turning strategic briefs into clear, engaging, and distinctive creative that builds awareness, drives consideration, and encourages engagement among target audiences.

You will work closely with Brand, Segment Marketing, and Creative teams to help deliver campaigns across digital placements such as display, paid social, and native, along with print and selected owned and event-related channels across North America and EMEA. A key part of the role is making sure the messaging stays aligned with the brand platform while also performing well across each channel.

From early ideation through final execution, you will contribute to creative work that makes complex financial ideas easier to understand and more compelling for clients and prospects at different stages of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clear, engaging advertising copy for a range of formats, including digital display, paid social, print, and supporting campaign assets.
  • Turn strategic briefs, campaign goals, and product positioning into original creative concepts and messaging.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to develop and execute integrated campaign creative.
  • Adjust copy for different formats and channels while preserving consistency and applying platform-specific best practices.
  • Help shape concepts, including headlines, scripts, and campaign storytelling that fit the brand platform.
  • Manage several assignments at once, keeping to deadlines and delivering polished work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Revise work based on stakeholder input while protecting the clarity and creative strength of the message.
  • Ensure all copy complies with regulatory and legal standards in partnership with Brand Activation, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Keep up with market trends, competitor activity, and current best practices in financial services advertising.
  • Support other brand and marketing writing needs when needed, such as organic social, event activations, and thought leadership content.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of advertising copywriting experience, ideally in an agency or in-house creative environment.
  • Hands-on experience writing for digital, social, and print channels.
  • Background in financial services or another highly regulated sector is preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate complex ideas into concise, compelling messaging.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and broader campaign systems.
  • Strong storytelling skills with a refined sense of tone, voice, and clarity.
  • Creative thinking ability with a talent for generating high-impact ideas and executing them across channels.
  • Solid understanding of digital and social platforms and how copy should be adapted for each one.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creative quality with business goals and performance needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced setting where priorities can change quickly.
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work both independently and with a team.
  • Experience participating in brainstorming, concept development, and creative presentations.

Additional Information
