Customer Assistant

Role overview

About the role

You will be based onsite in Letterkenny, County Donegal and will report to the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager. Day-to-day, you may support customers at the tills, guide them with product choices, or assist in the back shop.

Key duties

• Make customers feel welcome by listening carefully, answering queries, sharing product advice, suggesting suitable alternatives, and offering small but helpful touches.
• Learn about in-store promotions and schemes and actively share that information with shoppers.
• Support smooth store operations by making sure shelves are well stocked and presented, handling till transactions, and assisting with stockroom tasks.
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver an excellent shopping experience and keep the store clean, tidy, and ready for customers.

What you need

Full training is provided. Boots Ireland is looking for people who can work in a busy, changing environment, keep pace with day-to-day demands, communicate clearly, listen well, and contribute positively as part of a team. A strong focus on the small details and a genuine desire to represent the Boots brand are important.

Preferred experience

Previous customer service or customer care experience would be useful, but it is not required.
