Role Overview

Libros de Microfinanzas is seeking a junior-level Data Analyst to work remotely from the United States in a full-time capacity. This position is designed for someone who is naturally inquisitive, attentive to detail, and motivated to transform raw data into meaningful insights that support decision-making. The role suits candidates who enjoy spotting patterns, working with multiple data sources, and partnering with teams across the business in a remote-first setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from several sources, prepare it for analysis, and perform cleaning and validation.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visual materials that make findings easy to understand.
• Assist internal teams with one-off analyses and data-related requests.
• Look for trends, recurring patterns, and areas where performance can be improved.
• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and analytical goals.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and datasets.
• Record data sources, analysis methods, and reporting workflows for future reference.

Requirements

• Suitable for entry-level, junior, or associate candidates with approximately 0–3+ years of experience, including internships.
• Background in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, and/or visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong reasoning and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to turn data findings into practical recommendations.
• Good communication skills for technical as well as non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail-focused.
• Comfortable working on your own in a remote-first environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Must be located in the United States and legally authorized to work full-time.
